Tikkun Health Education was founded by Tyler (Chanokh) Berenson in 2017 with the mission to teach lifesaving skills to everyone.

We provide First Aid, CPR, AED, STOP THE BLEED®, and Active Violence Immediate Response (AVIRT) training to schools, preschools, camps, businesses, and community organizations throughout Maryland.

Our goal is to empower and encourage ordinary people to take concrete steps to protect the health and safety of themselves and their loved ones.

In 2026, Tikkun Health Education became authorized to teach AVIRT - Active Violence Immediate Response Training.

When someone is in danger, we should not stand idle. Emergencies often place ordinary people in extraordinary situations before professional help arrives. Our mission is to prepare people to act with skill, confidence, and compassion when those moments arise. 

Tikkun Health Education has taught more than 400 Participants in classes at:
